M ark and Ditty have 2 daughters, one in College and the other a senior in High School. Their hard work and good parenting have produced two very smart and responsible young adults. They have 5 acres in New Hill, NC, where they live, enjoy gardening, and play with their pets ‘Tizzy’ the Australian Shepherd, and cats Kitty Boy and Kitty Girl. Ditty volunteers with Wake Med Cary, and has been a summer swim team coach for the Lila Jones Swim Club since 1994. B ackwoods has always thought of themselves as the ‘Homeowners Landscaper’ specializing in working with residential customers to craft visually pleasing as well as practical solutions unique to their needs. Whether it is planting, brick construction, lawn renovation, or landscaping maintenance, they have the knowledge gained through their education and experience to design, install, and maintain quality landscapes. B oth Mark and Ditty have unique skills such as; brick masonry, brick and concrete pavers installation, dry stack stone wall construction, carpentry, and the extensive knowledge of planting materials and their proper use and installation.
