Bailey’s grating design and production staff has a combined 90 years of experience in the design, engineering and manufacture of heavy grating for many types of applications. We encourage our clients to consult with our staff in designing the most cost effective grating to meet the parameters and needs of their particular application.
Bailey Bridges Inc. manufactures a line of Open Grid Bridge Decking for use on its Bailey component panel bridges and for use on both fixed and movable span (non-Bailey) bridges. On Bailey bridge applications, a clamping system (accessed from the top of the deck), attaches the deck to the transoms / cross beams or to the stringers without the need for through-bolting or welding.
Bailey Bridges, Inc. is a member of the Metal Bar Grating Division of the “National Association of Architectural Metal Manufacturers” (NAAMM) and manufactures Heavy Duty Steel Bar Grating to the published standards of this Industry Group. In the above photo, this 5 1/2" deep grating is checked by Bailey supervisors for adherence to dimension requirements.
Refurbishing of Client-Owned Bailey components or complete Bailey bridges is a specialized service offered by Bailey Bridges, Inc. With our many years of experience combined with our specialized facilities, refurbishing of Bailey components is a service in which we offer considerable expertise. This service is done solely in our facility in Ft Payne, AL under the supervision of our experienced Bailey staff.
Bailey Bridges, Inc. manufactures and supplies portable Bailey component panel bridges and maintains a significant inventory of replacement components for USArmy designed M1, M2 and M3 bridges. Bailey’s portable component panel bridges are for purchase or rent. Additionally, Bailey’s experienced staff is available for field consulting on bridge applications and to assist in proper field assembly, installation and dismantling of Bailey bridges and in the installation of small to mid sized fixed pedestrian and vehicular bridges.
