Baked It Myself was born out of a love for traditional American sweets and satisfaction derived from them. Since its inception in 1998, owner Cheryl Canter-Valesella has built it up from a modest beginning in her own kitchen to a successful, ever-expanding business with multiple divisions. The headquarters in Van Nuys, CA house all of the different facets of the company - gifts, sweets, full service catering, corporate fulfillment, and most recently the Baked It Myself Cafe. While BIM is still primarily known for its delectable sweets and savory snacks, its reputation for being one of the highest regarded catering companies in Los Angeles has grown exponentially. From screening receptions to script readings to parties at private residences, Baked It Myself's strength lies in its ability to custom tailor menus, staffing, decor and all elements related to events specifically to the client and the occasion.
