Description

Ballard Community Services has operated in Lawrence since 1964 and serves all of Douglas County by providing early education services to children of low-income, working families. We provide more than half a million services each year to those less fortunate in this community.

We provide over a half of a million services in Douglas County each year. We provide hope. We help put the pieces back together for people in crisis. We keep people from becoming homeless. We help the sick get well. We keep people from being hungry.
