Description

Shannon has a passion for choreography and had the opportunity to create an original work on company members of TBT. He also choreographed a full length version of Snow White which premiered in 2005. Even while working as a full-time stock broker he finds time to freelance. Shannon has been involved in dance for more than 20 years. This includes over 10 years of teaching experience and an education in dance from Texas Christian University. Shannon loves spending time with his wife, Christa, and three children, Josiah, Hanniah, and Epiphany.

T he LakeCities Ballet Theatre was founded in 1984 to promote and preserve the art of classical ballet in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area. LBT has strived to present full-length classical ballet performances at affordable ticket prices. While achieving this goal, LBT offers local audiences the opportunity to experience world renown visiting guest artists while also providing a venue for student dancers to perform and train with professional choreographers and dancers. LBT’s reputation for quality has grown and its audience is now drawn from the larger D/FW metroplex area.

Mrs. Clark began dancing at The Ballet Conservatory at the age of 8 years old at where she studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern and Pointe as well as a summer intensive in New York City at the Broadway Young Dancers Program. After high school graduation, she attended the University of North Texas and was a member of the North Texas Dancers for 3 years. While at North Texas, Mrs. Clark competed at several collegiate competitions including ADTS Nationals winning the title of National Champions in the Division I Open Category in 2004. After Graduating from the University of North Texas with a B.S. in Merchandising and Business, Mrs. Clark continued to dance and perform for the Dallas Stars Ice Girls for 5 NHL seasons in 2007-2011. Her dance strengths are Jazz, Drill Team and Hip-Hop and she enjoys sharing her passion with her students and as Director of Intensity Dance Company. She has won many awards for her choreography in the last 3 years she has worked with IDC. Mrs. Clark lives in Carrollton with her newlywed husband, Graham.

The Ballet Conservatory opened its doors in 1991, under the direction of Mrs. Kelly Kilburn-Lannin. Mrs. Lannin established an excellent reputation in Lewisville for training dancers and nurturing talent and enthusiastically brought together a highly-qualified faculty to join her to provide the best instruction in all areas of dance including classical ballet and pointe, jazz, modern dance, tap and hip hop. Each faculty member is an expert in their respected fields with professional experience and many hold college degrees in dance as well. Our faculty members offer encouragement and support; treating each child with respect as an individual. In addition to our outstanding professional faculty, the school also recognizes the importance of bringing in esteemed guest instructors. Our recent list of ballet master teachers include: Jean Paul Comelin, Michael Vernon, Julie Kent, Shawn Stevens, Liuba Paterson, Leslie Peck, Kim Abel, Stan Rogers, Sasha Yapporov and others.. Special Guest Teachers in Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop have included Josh Bergasse, Bill Hotaling, Todd Shanks, Max Stone, Buster Cooper and David Storey.

As Vice President of Marketing & Development for Gondola Adventures, Inc., of Newport Beach, CA, Mr. Jordan has been instrumental in creating the largest gondola operating company outside Venice, Italy, working with developers and government entities to develop gondola operations in locations across the country.
