Description

The sixteen year old daughter of Greg and Donna Myers, Alyssa is a sophomore at Gila Ridge High School. She is a four year Ballet Yuma Company dancer with twelve years of dance experience. At RDA/P Festival in 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona, she received a full scholarship to Utah Regional Ballet’s Summer Intensive program in July of 2013, as well as a full scholarship to attend the RDA National Choreography Intensive, also in Utah. Alyssa enjoys sketching, painting, photography and baking in her free time. Her goal is to receive a scholarship to American Ballet Theatre's summer program. In addition, she wants to dance professionally after high school.

Sophie is the thirteen year old daughter of Doug and Melissa Henry. She is in the 8 th grade at Journey’s Educational Enrichment Home School. Sophie is a first year Ballet Yuma Company dancer with nine years of dancing experience. She completed National Novel Writing Month for young writers, and has won multiple awards through 4-H. Sophie's outside interests include writing, reading, learning languages, quilting and sewing. Sophie would like to study abroad during college. She aspires to do something involving linguistics and writing.

The fifteen year old daughter of Philip and Margaret Desposito, Pheobe is in the 8 th grade at AZVA. She is a second year Ballet Yuma Company dancer with ten years of dance experience. Pheobe is very proud to have received the Perfect Attendance award in school last year, and is a talented Professional Balloon Artist. She enjoys painting, drawing, cooking and baking. Her future plans include attending college and becoming a professional dancer.

Abi is the fourteen year old daughter of Peter and Amy Gill. She is in the 8 th grade at Centennial Middle School and is a first year Ballet Yuma Company dancer with ten years of dancing experience. Abi is proud to be on the honor roll at school. Outside of ballet, Abi's interests include painting and photography. Abi plans to attend college and dance in a professional company.

Tiffany is the eighteen year old daughter of Eduardo and Bertha Velazquez. She is a senior at Gila Ridge High School and a four year Ballet Yuma Company dancer with six years of dance experience. At RDA/P Festival in 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona, Tiffany received a scholarship to attend the RDA National Choreography Intensive held in Utah in July 2013. Aside from ballet, Tiffany enjoys playing volleyball. She wants to continue dancing through college and has plans of working towards a career in Physical Therapy.
