Bann Form's roots go back to 1939, when William Bann I started Bann Printing, a business forms manufacturer. In 1954, Richard Bann purchased the business from his father and changed the name to Bann Inc. He also added some promotional products to their manufacturing line. By the late 1960s, the company had more than 100 employees and was servicing companies like 3M, Whirlpool, Hamm's Beer, Ecolab, and the State of MN. In 1976, Bann became a division of a larger forms manufacturer based in Chicago, IL.
