Our friend, colleague, and BMa Senior Partner, David Wooley, has been presented with the East Tennessee American Institute of Architects Gold Medal. The Gold Medal is conferred by the AIA Board of Directors in recognition of a significant body of work of lasting influence on the theory and practice of architecture. In addition to this honor, David is also a member of the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows. The College of Fellows, founded in 1952, is composed of members of the Institute who are elected to Fellowship by a jury of their peers.

New construction of four apartment buildings and adaptive re-use of the historic Eastport Elementary School combined to provide affordable senior housing. We are excited to be working with our friends at SandersPace architects in this joint venture. Careful detailing and thoughtful design are critical in respecting the historic architecture of the existing school, while at the same time providing new architecture that speaks to this century.

We are proud to announce that we have been selected by Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish and School to provide master planning services as part of their Sacred Heart Strategic Plan. We are very fortunate and excited to work with this important client. We are collaborating with renowned Ecclesiastical Consultant, Duncan Stroik , an expert in sacred architecture. Our team looks forward to working hand-in-hand with the master planning committee, the community, and the diocese to develop the road map for the future growth of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish.
