Founded in 1983 by Rob Griffin and Deborah Barnard, Barnard Griffin has been producing Award Winning wines for over 30 years. Barnard Griffin Winery is situated in south-central Washington at the confluence of the Yakima, Columbia, and Snake rivers, in the heart of Washington State's wine country. 2004 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Double Gold and Best of Class Tri-Cities Wine Festival, Gold Medal L.A. County Fair Wines of the World Competition, Gold West Coast Wine Competition Barnard Griffin's 2004 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, was awarded Double Gold medals and Best of Class at the 2006 Tri-Cities Wine Festival and a Gold Medal at the 2006 L.A. County Fair Wines of the World Competition. "The 2004 Reserve Cabernet has dark rich aromas of cherries and cassis, with vanilla undertones. Lighter in structure than some vintages, this wine achieves a finesse that is rare in the region.
