About Barsa Barsa & Associates was founded in 1987 by president and CEO Jo Barsa. Jo recognized immediately a lack of alternatives for emerging businesses looking to reduce overhead in their accounting departments. For that reason Barsa & Associates began developing innovative outsource accounting services models for emerging businesses. Clients quickly recognized the many advantages, significant cost savings and greater flexibility associated with outsourcing back-office accounting functions and Barsa quickly became an industry leader.
