The original Barwind was founded by Dan's father, Joseph Calegari along with partner Bill Mann. The name Barwind is a combination of the first 3 letters of the names Barbara Mann and Winifred Calegari, the wives of Joseph and Bill. Barwind is now celebrating 51 years of continuous business and has sold over $20 million of energy efficient home improvement products and services. Dan has been married to his wife, Elizabeth for 15 years, and is the father of 2 sons, Ben and Joseph.
