The Basch studio creates still photographs and television programs for broadcast, public relations, advertising, unions, museums, and design firms. It also provides portraits for authors, actors, models, politicians, and media-personalities. At present, please enjoy samples of commercial and landscape photography, as well as some beautiful shots from a photographic excursion to Pakistan. Please contact the studio if we can be of any assistance in your next project. Richard Basch, prominent Washington, D.C. photographer, is fascinated by all kinds of beauty. His artistic sensibility celebrates his subjects' uniqueness, and he has been able to turn his sensitive interpretation, brilliant sense of color, and distinguished composition to many different subjects. Basch's elegant images have been seen in exhibits at the Alliance Francaise, the Byrne Gallery, and the Museum of the Rhode Island School of Design. He has photographed many of the US Presidents. The subjects of his insightful portraits include Oscar de la Renta, Adolfo, Rosalynn Carter, Liv Ullmann, Cliff Robertson, Jack Lemmon, Princess Alexandra of Great Britain, Dennis Weaver, and Paloma Picasso as well as hosts of lesser known people.
