Basic Fibres was founded in the 1970s. For over 40 years, Basic Fibres has expanded to become one of the biggest CRV recycling processors in the State of California. We oversee the processing of over 100,000 tons of aluminum cans, pete plastic #1, hdpe plastic #2, bimetal, glass, cardboard, and paper annually. Our experience and expertise has helped us make an impact in the local residential and business community. We pride ourselves by assisting the recycling needs of the local community while also serving to promote local business growth and job creation. Our dedicated staff is committed to assisting local entrepreneurs in the creation and development of certified recycling centers. Basic Fibres is a longstanding active member of numerous recycling organizations including the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), the Association of California Recycling Industries (ACRI), and the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce.
