The year, Nineteen Ninety-Five. We had nearly perfected our amazing hydroponic system. Frankly, we were amazed. We had never seen so much sweet basil in one place, ever. Basil beyond our wildest imaginings. Basil up to our eyeballs. Basil to the skylights. We could smell it before we even opened the greenhouse doors. We knew we were on to something.The aroma was enticing... like walking into my Grandma's Sicilian kitchen. Spicy and inviting. So now we had all this basil, and needed to find a way to share it with our friends and ultimately market it. We approached the wholesale markets... yeah, the Big Time Grocery Store, but they kept REFRIGERATING it. They didn't understand hydroponic sweet basil.
