The Batavia MainStreet program is a not-for-profit, community-based organization devoted to enhancing downtown Batavia's identity as the heart of the community through dedicated volunteer efforts.The Four Point Approach is based on a comprehensive strategy of work, tailored to local needs and opportunities, in four broad areas:Enhancing the physical appearance of the commercial district by rehabilitating historic buildings, encouraging supportive new construction, developing sensitive design management systems, and long-term planning.
