Bates Motor Company was founded in 1938 by Webb W. Bates. Webb constructed the Bates Motor Company building with his own hands and created zero debt. From 1938 until this day Bates Motor Company customers enjoy the luxury of discount prices due to extremely low overhead costs. Webb W. Bates was a man of unquestionable integrity and made everyone feel welcome. Webb ran the company along with the help of his son-in-law, Ray Geninatti.
