Shortly thereafter, the Bay4 Capital knowledge base was acquired by GE Capital to build its Technology Finance business. The portfolio itself was retained by Bay4 as a service-only entity. Both GE Capital Technology Finance and the Bay4 servicing group operated on the Bay4 software platform. After working with GE Capital for the agreed upon 2 years, the team reassembled to provide finance solutions for the solar energy industry. The software group that created the software platform utilized to manage the leasing assets was purchased by Sun Financial and rolled up under Bay4 Energy Services.

Mark Miller, Vice President, Enterprise Account Management – Mark has worked for and with the Bay4 Energy Services team over the last 15 years. Mark has over 30 years of experience in financial services, business development, C-Suite advising and consulting, and enterprise account management. He has also led international expansion into Mexico, Brazil, and Canada. In addition to working at Bay4 Energy Services, Mark has worked for Bank of America, GE Capital Technology Finance, and CHG-Meridian USA Corp.

Dennis is responsible for end-to-end solar project asset management and servicing for Bay4 Energy Services. Dennis has worked with the Bay4 Energy Services team for nearly 30 years and has held various positions in Information Technology and Asset Management for Sun Financial Group, GATX Capital Technology Services, Bay4 Capital and GE Capital Technology Finance. In between, Dennis also started a successful captive technology leasing company for a technology company and ran all aspects of the company.

Mike Friedman, Director, Project Management – Mike is the original software architect and developer of the software used at Bay4 Energy Services. The genesis of this software dates back to 1977 and it was one of the very first asset-based software solutions, which has been utilized by all of the companies in which the Bay4 Energy Services team has been involved. Mike originally founded and ran his own software company and he continues to advance his software with the Bay4 Energy Services development team, of which he is now a part.
