Bayshore Rigids was established in 1998 to manufacture and sell virgin, rigid PVC compounds, to take advantage of Bayshore's expertise in virgin and recycled PVC manufacturing. Additionally, Bayshore saw a need for a full service supplier who was responsive to the specialty rigid PVC compound market. To this end, Bayshore Rigids manufactures a full line of clear, natural (filled), exterior grade and pre-colored compounds for the extrusion, injection and blow molding markets, continuing an involvement in the rigid PVC compound market dating back to the company's early days. Bayshore's exposure to the rigid market began in the early 1990's with the founding of Ricicla, SA, a recycler of rigid and flexible PVC compounds into "up scale" recycled applications. Subsequent establishment of a clear rigid recycling operation (manufacturing "EcoVinyl" for OxyChem) and virgin injection molding compounds prepared Bayshore to enter the virgin rigid compound business with a full palette of...
