Bayside Hospital for Animals is a full service companion animal hospital in Fort Walton Beach Florida. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet.

We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.

Animal Hospitals (eighteen years with Dr. Townsend), as well as the Emergency Clinic. She has thirty years of experience in companion animals, exotics, and birds. Dr. Fannon is certified in stem cell therapy for arthritis and canine reproduction techniques.

We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, and closely supervised hospitalization area. We also are equipped to perform ultrasound, endoscopic, and electrocardiogram testing when special diagnostic procedures are required. Our hospital is an approved preceptor/externship hospital for Auburn University and University of Florida's Schools of Veterinary Medicine providing learning experiences for veterinary students.
