Commitment to Strategic Planning The Board of Education recognizes that providing high quality education for all students and increasing student achievement require clear focus, intentional planning, alignment of resources, thorough implementation and regular assessment of results. The Board of Education commits the district to strategic planning to provide direction for accomplishing identified goals. Strategic planning will enhance the district's capability to continually improve education for all 28,000 BCSD students. Through the strategic planning process, the Board affirms its commitment to continuing, active involvement with the parents, staff, students, and community. The district's planning, implementation and evaluation processes will incorporate parent, staff, student and community participation as well as opportunities for public input. Executive Members
