The Beata Clasp ® came to life on December 31, 2004 when inventor Lenore T. Henning, a registered nurse who resides in Glen Ellyn, IL, first conceived of the idea. As a nurse for over 35 years, Lenore has first-hand knowledge of the problems that nurses and patients encounter on a daily basis.
We are a family owned company located in Glen Ellyn, IL. The company was started in 2004 by a RN with 35 years of hospital clinical experience. Our focus is to bring our product the Beata Clasp to market in order to promote patient safety.
Eliminating the interconnectivity between various medical tubing would be the ideal preventive measure to tubing misconnections. However, there is a extensive variety of tubing and connector manufactures and creates an obstacle towards such a mandate.
