Hi, my name is Donna, but you also might hear me referred to around here by my nickname, Frosty. I have been a dental assistant for over 30 years, with my first 10 years in general dentistry. I have been with this practice for over 20 years now. Besides my duties as an orthodontic assistant in the treatment area, you might also see me in the front of the office as a treatment coordinator, helping people begin their treatment with the practice. Orthodontic assisting has been a rewarding career helping our patients achieve that perfect smile. It has been a pleasure to work with a professional and friendly staff who are dedicated to giving our patients such a positive experience.

Hi, my name is Lois and I have been with this practice for over 20 years. As Dr. Friedman's Insurance Coordinator I realize the importance of educating our patients and their families on the benefits of orthodontics, while providing the highest level of customer service in coordinating insurance benefits and financial arrangements. I love seeing the change in patients as they progress through treatment. Witnessing a patients personal transformation from being self-conscious to outgoing is especially rewarding.

Hi, my name is Melissa. I am the treatment coordinator for Dr. Michael Friedman. I have been in the orthodontic field for over 20 years. I graduated from Briarwood College Dental Assisting Program in 1991. As the Treatment Coordinator I will assist you in your first visit to our office and help you begin treatment with the practice. I enjoy the lasting relationships that we form with our patients and families while creating a beautiful smile!.

Playing an instrument or a contact sport may require some adjustment when you first get your braces, but wearing braces will not stop you from participating in any of your school activities. If you play a contact sport, it is recommended that you wear a mouthguard to protect your braces or appliance. We provide mouthguards for our patients at no additional cost.

Game, Set, Match – we have great news for athletes! You can still play sports even while undergoing orthodontic treatment! If you do play sports, it’s recommended that you wear a mouthguard in order to protect your teeth and your appliance. We provide special orthodontic mouthguards, so let us know if you need help finding the right mouthguard for the best protection.
