Career : Becky has many years of successful sales experience. She sold everything from Tupperware to motion pictures. She was vice-president of an independent movie distribution company in Seattle, WA. During her career in yellow page sales she was a top sales rep and managed a team of sales reps in a multi-billion dollar corporation. Becky took early retirement to pursue her career as a full time professional speaker as well as serving in a leadership role in Breast Friends , a non-profit organization she co-founded in 2000.

You might wonder how we came up with the name of our newsletter, " Jabizness News ." It comes from the "Prayer of Jabez." It's a simple prayer, "Lord, bless me, enlarge my territory. Keep your hand upon me that I may not cause harm." Every time we meet someone, and it is often, who helps us enlarge our territory, we call those meetings "Jabizness Meetings." My husband came up with that phrase after a discussion of the power of prayer. This newsletter is part of that expansion. A young woman, Barbara Moody, happened to contact us through Volunteer Match.

As a two-time breast cancer survivor, Becky took her situation and turned it into something positive. In 2000, she co-founded a non-profit called Breast Friends dedicated to helping women in their fight against breast cancer.
