Originally Beets Catering, Inc., an offsite catering company, the company has 20+ years of experience in a wide variety of events, logistics, clientele and cuisine. In 2004, the company fully transitioned from an offsite caterer to a first-class event management company with the opening of the Palm Event Center in the Vineyard. Quickly becoming known for superlative events and restaurant-caliber cuisine, the staff and event venue's reputation grew, culminating with the opening of the company's second event property, Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in 2008.

Rubino, an Italian word for Ruby, ties into areas of rich winemaking history. Stylized as an authentic, Old-World Italian winery, it features an expansive 8,000 square-foot tasting room and over 150 acres of vines. The winery is dedicated to producing award-winning Italian varietals such as sangiovese, barbera, nebbiolo and trebbiano. Melody is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. A seasoned manager with extensive sales and marketing experience, she previously served with U.S. Foods for over 20 years. When not managing the company, Melody can be found at her home in the Livermore hills gardening or bottling O’Shea Corral wine.

The company and its properties are solely event-driven and thus excel at executing elegant, professional and fun events while providing exemplary service with fresh and inventive wine country cuisine.
