Jennifer, MSW Behavior Consultant Jennifer started providing behavioral services to the developmentally disabled in mid-2007. Previously, she helped impact the lives of our individuals as a job coach. Jennifer provides support to consumers in Laporte and St. Joseph Counties. Shawn, MA Behavior Consultant Shawn moved back to his hometown area after spending several years in Sunny California. He brings a varied background that includes teaching preschoolers, supervising in a mental health setting and working as a Mental Health Resource Specialist at a youth residential treatment facility . Shawn lives in Laporte County, which is where he will focus his efforts. Jordan, MSW Behavior Consultant Jordan entered the behavior management field in 2009, after coming to us from the mental health and education fields. She was employed as a case manager previously. She has been a great asset to our team with her mental health background and clinical skills. She's also an amazing Internet researcher when we need more information on a particular challenge, therapy or intervention. Jordan will be servicing the St.
All of our music therapists have experience in working with individuals with a variety of developmental disabilities, including autism and Down syndrome. We have a team who are all full-time employees which allows us to provide services in a timely and individualized manner. We have a large number of instruments and resources available to use in music therapy sessions, which allows us to better cater to the preference and sensory needs of the individual. We provide an environment that encourages positive interaction with the other members of the interdisciplinary team in order to best serve the individual. Our music therapists collect data in order to set appropriate goals for the individual and to provide accurate accounts of progress to all team members.
Tim earned his Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2005. His professional experience includes working with At-Risk youth and their families for over 10 years both in an educational capacity and in residential placement. He also worked as a QDP and is seeking a Limited License in Psychology to work as therapist part-time in the state of Michigan. He will be serving the Elkhart and St. Joseph County areas.
CEO/Owner and QOAT Kelly started working in the developmental disabilities field in 2002 when she was a residential county director. In 2003, she started providing behavior management services. She now supervises the Behavior Services & Therapy team and handles all the management functions required to own and operate a business. Kelly is a Registered Behavioral Consultant through the Indiana Association of Behavioral Consultants. Additionally, she is a major in the Air Force Reserves and has spent more than 22 years working as a public affairs (relations) journeyman and officer on active duty and in the Reserves. She was named the 434th Air Refueling Wing Officer of the Year -- 2008.consultant and she is available for all of our clients. Should your primary behavior consultant leave our employ, we can continue providing services with any one of our other behavior consultants if that is your choice. Your primary behavior consultant will want to see you at home, at the workshop, in the community and in our South Bend office.
