Dr. Colin M. Peeler earned a Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, a PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in ABA from Washington State University, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral Level. Dr. Peeler has been providing therapy to children with autism and other disabilities and teaching others how to do the same for over 15 years. For five years he served as the Coordinator of the Master’s program in Psychology and as a Professor at Florida State University in Panama City. During his time at FSU Dr. Peeler taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Psychology, founded, established and served as the Director of ABOVE ALL, FSU-PC's in home treatment program for children with autism. After 5 years of academia, Dr. Peeler realized his true passion was working with clients and staff rather than teaching. As such Dr. Peeler decided to establish Behavior Solutions, Inc. so he could focus his efforts on that purpose. He has presented over 60 papers at state and national conferences, been published in scholarly journals, and conducted many workshops, staff trainings and invited lectures around the country.
Now enrolling children ages 2-5 years old with autism. Clinic based services are designed to provide the absolute best in early intervention ABA services for pre-school children with autism and give them the best chance possible of moving to a school setting successfully. Our year round clinic offers 1:1 instruction by Behavior Assistants with advanced training in ABA, assessments, plans and supervision and training of staff is provided by senior Licensed Behavior Analysts with and Dr. Peeler who has been developing and overseeing autism programs for over 15 years. EIBI Flyer 3/5 kids in the last class were mainstreamed in 1 year or less. The other 2 were accessing regular education after 1 year's time and continued making gains with some additional services. Our program helps the majority of kids with autism learn at or twice as fast as the normal rate.
Behavior plans are developed based on the results of an individualized assessment and tailored to meet the needs of the people involved. Once the plan has been written we provide assistance and training during the initials stages of implementation to insure everyone succeeds.
