Behavioral Health Generations (BHG) is an alliance of Ohio Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Service (ADAMHS) Boards formed in 1995 as a Council of Governments (COG) pursuant to Chapter 167 of the Ohio Revised Code.The purpose of the organization is to help our members and their provider agencies reduce cost, improve productivity and enhance the quality of their services through sharing resources and information. BHG provides opportunities for its members to:The members of BHG shall collectively acquire experience, conduct research, and develop skills in the delivery of healthcare services to both the Medicaid eligible and non-Medicaid eligible population. Members will jointly plan, fund, operate and manage a system of behavioral healthcare that provides access to the most appropriate quality services in the least restrictive environment.
