Description
The goal for our Catering Department is to exceed all expectations with your experience at Bel-Air Bay Club, from our initial meeting through the execution on the day of your special event. Our friendly and imaginative team will work together with you to customize your experience to suit your unique vision for your occasion, and execute every detail with the precision and passion you deserve.
Bel-Air Bay Club was built during 1927 and 1928 as part of a 31-acre project conceived by Alphonzo Bell, one of the primary developers of Los Angeles. His previous real estate ventures included the Bel-Air neighborhood and its famous country club. Several years prior, Mr. Bell was also instrumental in the founding of the Hacienda Country Club. Bell's family were essential contributors to the history and development of Southern California, and Alphonzo Bell was key to the development of real estate in the Los Angeles area. The country clubs he established, including Bel-Air Bay Club, are testaments to his vision of places of beauty and leisure for the growing demographic of the Hollywood elite. Bel-Air Bay Club was incorporated on June 2, 1927. Mr. Bell seemed to have a special talent for developing this type of project, and his promotion of athletics was a knowledgeable one, having ranked as one of the nation's top ten tennis players in 1904. It is an appropriate legacy to Mr. Bell, who also served as Club President from 1927 through 1945, that the Bel-Air Bay Club is, to this day, known as "the paddle tennis club," having spawned several national champion players.ckamps-silver@belairbayclub.com Chris has years of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, specializing in directing sales and marketing teams in major markets including San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles. Imagine exchanging your vows in a lush, romantic garden framed by flowers and with the backdrop of warm Pacific waves sparkling in the light of a red-gold sun behind you. This is the experience of the Bel-Air Bay Club, an exclusive and private estate on the bluffs overlooking Santa Monica bay where all your wedding dreams will come true. After exchanging vows, enjoy cocktails and congratulations in the spacious Living Room, or wander to the more intimate setting of the outdoor Courtyard with its lighted fountain and crackling fireplace as the stars start to blaze overhead. Dine and dance the night away in the Dining Room – where vaulted ceilings, wrought iron chandeliers and a grand fireplace are just steps away from the ocean breezes on the balcony. Every room features grand windows with an endless view of the coastline twinkling all the way to the lights of the Santa Monica pier. Bel-Air Bay Club is yours exclusively for your reserved timeframe.
