Bell Law was founded in 2005 by Jeremy Bell, a Chicago Kent College of Law graduate, who has been in practice for over five years. Attorney Bell spent his first two years out of law school as a litigator at Quinn, Johnston, Henderson & Pretorius, an insurance defense firm, in Peoria, Illinois. He defended policy holders of various insurers, including State Farm, Allstate and Country Companies. He represented the policy holders in personal injury, premises liability, commercial litigation, defamation, and medical malpractice cases. It was in this capacity that he gained extraordinarily valuable courtroom experience that his peers in Chicago were not yet at a level to enjoy. After two years as a litigator, Attorney Bell began practicing transactional law at Vonachen, Lawless, Trager & Slevin in Peoria. He gained valuable experience in diverse areas of the law, including real estate, small business/corporate, tax, professional licensure, estate planning and municipal.

At Bell Law, LLC we represent individuals and small businesses who have applied for a business license through the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and have been denied and require application through the Zoning Board of Appeals for a special use permit. We will assist you in your application for a special use permit through the Zoning Board of Appeals and represent you before the Board. We have experience completing the application in a timely manner and fulfilling Code requirements. We have established relationships with professional urban planners and appraisers in the Chicago area that are required to attend your hearing.
