We have saved some clients as much as 30%. Since we specialize in design/build construction, we have more experience in this arena than any contractor in the Treasure Valley. As a company (established in 1948), we have done hundreds of projects using the Benchmark Design/Build method with no change orders and at least 15% savings.

I have spent the last thirty years in the construction industry. The first 24 years I was working for sub contractors and the last five years with Benchmark Construction in general construction. My experience in many different fields has been a great advantage for me and also a very natural step into construction management. I understand the different trades and the problems that can come up during construction. This helps in being flexible but also in understanding the need for the project to be completed on time and within the budget that has been set.

My role in the building process is always the same - watch the bottom line. This task is not taken lightly and is not only for our company but the clients we are servicing. Doing the best job we can for our owners is top priority. On a monthly basis the project managers and I compare budgets to actual job costs and analyze what is going right and where we can improve. Staying on top of the numbers is one of our key elements that set us apart from others and I enjoy the process thoroughly with each new project that comes through our door.
