Benchmark Research, founded in 1997 by Mr. Mark Lacy and Mr. Scott Barrett, began with the simple yet fundamental goal of providing exceptional service in clinical research. Benchmark's basic philosophy is that quality is paramount, and integrity, professionalism, dedication, and old-fashioned hard work should be applied to the burgeoning clinical trial industry. Starting in the Fort Worth, Texas metro area with just one doctor, the firm began providing services in a variety of therapeutic areas.

Consequently, Benchmark sites have extraordinarily low early termination / lost-to-follow-up numbers. We use state-of-the-art study management programs that link and monitor activity and progress at all sites. Surpassing expectations to satisfy our client is our chief priority.

Benchmark Research conducts adult and pediatric Clinical Research trials, and is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant. This is a full-time position.

GAVI is a public-private global health partnership committed to saving children’s lives and protecting people’s health by increasing access to immunization in poor countries. Since 2000, GAVI has worked with developing countries to help vaccinate 370 million children and save more than 5.5 million lives. The GAVI Campaign 501 (c) (3) is a US public charity whose charitable mission includes supporting immunization programs in developing countries, including programs in support of the GAVI Alliance.

ACRP awarded the 2013 Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research Award for Leadership as a CRC to Benchmark’s Ann Rutledge, MA, CCRC, during their annual Global Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Fla. on April 14. The award recognizes individuals who have made exceptional leadership/practice contributions that have furthered the vision and mission of ACRP. Based at Benchmark’s Austin clinical research site, Ann is both Manager of Quality Control and a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator.
