Mr. Williams passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Clay County Hospital. He was a native of Cullman but had lived in Clay County since 1967. Roger completed his training as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Nunnelly Technical School and had worked as a L.P.N. at various locations in Alabama for over 30 years. He had also served in the Alabama Army National Guard for over 30 years, was a veteran of Desert Storm/Desert Shield and retired as a Staff Sergeant. Mr. Williams was a member and deacon at Dingler's Chapel Christian Church.

Ms. Lott passed away on Monday, June 23 2014 at the Clay County Hospital. She was born in Decatur, Mississippi, was a graduate of Beulah Hubbard High School and moved to Clay County in 1965. Ms. Lott had worked as a secretary at the Clay County Hospital for over 15 years, the Clay County Circuit Clerk's office for over seven years and at the office of A.L. Hardegree, Attorney at Law. Joan was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Joy Sunday School Class and served as church hostess for several years. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling and serving as cook on church youth trips.

Mrs. Young passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston. A life-long resident of Clay County, Mrs. Young had worked as a machine operator at Plantation Patterns for over 10 years and was a member of County Line Baptist Church.

Mr. Colburn passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center. He was born in Clay County where he lived most of his life, was a graduate of Lineville High School and attended Jacksonville State University. Larry served in the United States Air Force for four years and was stationed on Okinawa during the Vietnam War. Larry worked as a Production Supervisor for over 28 years at Forte Power Systems and Southwire in Carrolton, Georgia. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, fishing, and attended the First United Methodist Church in Lineville.
