Carl D. Bert, Registered Surveyor, Land Survey business, was established in 1973 as a sole proprietorship on the Pineville Road in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania with one part time employee. Our work consisted primarily of boundary and subdivision surveys in the Cumberland / Franklin Counties area. From Pineville Road our office moved to 9 West King Street, Shippensburg in 1989 and employed 6. In 1994 we moved from West King Street to our current location at 20 East Burd Street, Shippensburg, in the newly named Burd Street Center building. Since then, our business practices, personnel, experience, equipment and training has been expanded so that we can offer a wide range of surveying and engineering services. Our entire staff has over 200 years of surveying and engineering experience and includes 3 Professional Land Surveyors, 2 Professional Engineers, Registered Landscape Architect, Sewage Enforcement Officer, Wetland Delineator, Certified GPS operators, among others. Since 1973, Carl Bert & Associates has completed over 3,000 residential, commercial or industrial projects.
