At work I finally got a new PC. My previous one was over 4 years old, although it still worked ok. Since I have to learn the JAVA aspects of SAP Netweaver, I needed the SAP Netweaver Developer Studio (which is based on Eclipse ) plus the corresponding Netweaver server installed locally. Dont ask why the server isnt running centrally, I dont understand it either. So I needed as few as 2.5 GB RAM for this beast. The new machine is an IBM ThinkCentre A52 (3.0 GHz). Pretty nice.
