Description
The name goes back to a simple beginning.. a good old-fashioned bulletin board (or BBS as we called them) which accepted its first call on January 1, 1994. We called it"The NutHouse" and the opening screen showed an "ANSI" drawing of a rather worn-out clapboard outhouse, complete with crescent moon carved on the door. A cartoon-style balloon coming from inside the building carried the caption: "Squirrel sez... Be an adult, not a kid. Hit the toilet, not the lid". And there you have it.
