The Beth Israel Residency in Urban Family Practice brings together the largest concentration of family physicians involved in family practice training in New York City . The program is a collaboration between Beth Israel Medical Center's Alfred and Gail Engelberg Department of Family Medicine and the Institute for Urban Family Health. The Institute is a non-profit organization that serves to make family practice services more available in response to the needs of medically underserved populations.
