Beth Israel Memorial Chapel opened its doors in January 1982 with one funeral director and a staff of 5. We now employ 6 full-time licensed directors and a support staff of over 35 people, including 13 licensed pre-need counselors. Beth Israel has helped more than 13,000 families in their time of need. In addition, more than 22,000 people have entrusted their pre-need arrangements to us. Yet, as one of Palm Beach County's few remaining independent Jewish funeral homes, we offer such a high level of compassion and service that the families who call on us do not feel as if they are being treated like just another number.
