Better Brake Parts, Inc. was founded by E..F (Bud) Mikesell in 1981. In the beginning we supplied our quality components only to the Caliper Rebuilding industry. Today those same components are now found within disc & drum brake hardware kits in thousands of service outlets worldwide. We cover your domestic and import brake hardware application needs with minimal SKU's. We were the first Aftermarket Brake Component Company to be ISO 9001-2000 Quality Certified. Quality is not a slogan with BBP. Each component is tested for dimensional and material integrity as well as various fluid compatibilities by our in-house design & engineering department. Our Products meet or exceed S.A.E. specifications on quality, safety and performance or it doesn't leave our facility! Another first for BBP was their CD catalog. Better Brake Parts was the first Aftermarket Brake Component Company to supply their customers with a CD catalog with digital photos. We are very proud of our comprehensive, easy to use electronic cataloging. Our catalog can be downloaded from this website, a CD can be sent or for those who prefer a paper catalog can be sent. With dedication to Quality, Service and Price Competitiveness our company has continued to prosper. Recently we have added a Los Angeles warehouse to more efficiently serve our west coast customers. We are always searching for improvement in our customer service.
