About Bev and Company Bev & Co. was founded in 1978 under the name Denim Duds by Renee Neiderman's Mother, Beverly Lathrop. It then became Bev’s Fashions when Beverly took on more fashionable clothing lines. In 1999, Renee started working with her mother, while still running her Gift Shop, "A Tisket A Tasket" founded in 1998. Beverly retired and Renee ran both shops until 2002 she decided to combine both shops together in the 4,000 square foot Historic "Opera House" in beautiful, picturesque downtown Homer, New York.
