Our family's interest in bicycling generated the idea to start a bike shop. In 1990 Ron and his two son's Dave and Jeff decided to turn their idea into reality. We have been in our present location since 1993. We have worked hard to make customer service a priority.In 1999 Larry Martin joined our staff. Larry has been an active partner in the Minnesota cycling community for the past 15 years. His experience as a ride leader, race official, coach and racer brings a new dimension to Bicycle Chain.Since we have so much stability in our staff, it is not uncommon for customers to be greeted by name or at least recognized by the bike they ride. We strive to make an extra effort to accommodate people's needs. As a result of our low employee turnover, customers can often talk to same person time after time, year after year. In addition, we accommodate customers individual needs whether they spend $150 on a floor model or $5000 on a custom bike.
