Description
Date: September 23, 2002 Title: About me Date: 20 Jan 2003 Time: 18:37:00 -0500 Report Offshore Fishing Steinhatchee This the first article for me in the Woods 'N Waters so I believe a brief introduction is in order. I fish because I love it, period. As far back as memory allows, I have fished for any fish for over 35 years. As a kid, I've wet lines for bream, bass, crappie, striped bass, catfish, then I saw a huge fish muscling around in the shallows of a lake. Big fish in shallow water caught my attention immediately. "Oh, that's just a carp, it's not something you'd want to eat" said most.

Bread balls, corn and eventually a fly rod sold me on catching big fish. Yes, carp.
EQUIPMENT : NEW 2003 Custom designed 32' Twin Vee, twin hull boat with 12' beam, twin 250 Suzukis. This is a center console with over 300 sq. ft. of fishing room. There is a head inside the console for privacy and a t-top for shade. We added a dodger, which is a cover on the front of the boat that protects you from wind and spray during transport and can be left up for shade in the summer. It snaps down in a second if you have a large fish on and need to go around the boat. Cruising speed is approx 35+mph in good seas, even in rougher conditions the boat rides better above 20mph.
