Quarium is a developer of online and entertainment software founded in 1995. We have extensive experience in the development of packaged-goods and online products for US and International markets. Our customers include most major software publishers and other large and small corporations.

Quarium was founded in 1995 as a California Corporation. We have grown consistently over the years but we have remained fully private and self-funded. Most of our customers are large publishers of online content and applications. We are interested in establishing strategic alliances with publishers and are actively seeking investment for our projects.

We help publishers create world-class world-wide online properties. We entertain customers into buying your products and we sell your online entertainment. Bart Besseling, founder and CEO, has a 1981 BSEE/CS degree from Haarlem Technical University in the Netherlands. Prior to founding Quarium in 1995, Mr. Besseling spent three years at Electronic Arts as Software Development Manager for 3DO Products. Prior to that Mr. Besseling spent two years as co-founder, CFO and System Integration Partner at Network Support Services in Los Angeles, developing nation-wide communication networks for Nissan and developing interactive CD-ROM titles for Philips CD-i.
