Description

Bilocon was founded in 1970 by Don Colvin. Originally the company only did contract engineering. Over the years customers asked for responsive manufacturing of the products that the company was engineering. To meet this increased demand Bilocon started to do contract assembly. To meet our customers needs Bilocon now does assembly work for some customers, that do not require design, and continue to do project design for companies that do not require manufacturing. Our strength lies in our ability to design a product, and then, very rapidly produce finished working assemblies. This is due to the close coupling between our production and engineering departments. We typically order long lead parts while a project is still in engineering. This decreases our project turn around time dramatically. If a problem occurs in test or in board layout our engineers are readily available to find a solution. To meet the growing demands for new technology Bilocon purchased our Fuji SMT line. It is able to place over 14,000 parts an hour. Our through-hole assembly line is as efficient as they come! In 1985 the Bilocon Toll Call Restrictor was designed and patented. This is a Bilocon proprietary product. It can be installed on a single phone or a phone line for an entire company to restrict long distance phone calls. This device is unique in the marketplace in that it does not require any power except that supplied by the phone line and still allows full user programmability...
