Disc in T-town started as a group of friends meeting Saturday afternoon playing for fun. After a year, we went to Bellingham for our first tournament as Tacoma Ultimate Frisbee and lost all of our games. Things changed when a tall handsome red haired man experimented with us and taught the gang another throw, the forehand! With some coaching, Seattle Spring League was in sight. The dilemma at the time was that of the team name. Our beloved Doug Boy, used to commit various Spirit Fouls. Thus a name was born. With wonderful support from the Seattle Disc community the little pickup team from Tacoma morphed into us!
