BioMedtrix is a manufacturer of veterinary orthopedic products, specializing in canine total hip replacements. BioMedtrix has over 25 years in design experience in both human and veterinary products. Our products are designed to address disabling conditions of the canine hip, primarily canine hip dysplasia. All BioMedtrix products are produced to the same quality specifications as those followed for human implant manufacturing. Implanting an artificial hip has been successfully performed in canines with hip dysplasia since the early 1970's. BioMedtrix had its first system implanted on June 12, 1990. Since then the company has evolved to providing state of the art total hip replacement products for the veterinary orthopedic community in over 33 different countries. BioMedtrix is the leader in canine total hip replacement and supports continuing education in this field through all major veterinary universities and veterinary referral clinics in the United States and internationally.
