BioTracking’s BioPRYN assay has been commercially available for over 10 years. BioPRYN is the proven world leader in blood-based pregnancy testing. Applications of this technology have been documented in scientific and veterinary based publications since 1985. Based on years of experience in our own laboratory, we have designed the products to be amenable to the needs of high volume throughput. Our assays can be completed in multiple time frames allowing the laboratory to save expenses in technician time.

The Schwertner family has been involved in the livestock dealer business for over 63 years. Capitol Land & Livestock was founded in 1946 in Austin, TX, by Eugene Schwertner. Eugene’s niece, Teresa Schwertner, is the fourth generation involved in the auction barn business.

BioTracking scientists have over 40 years of combined experience in the discovery, development and application of proteins for detection of pregnancy in cows and other ruminants. Prairie Diagnostic Services Inc. (PDS) is a member type non-profit corporation dedicated to providing veterinary diagnostic services. Its members are the Province of Saskatchewan and the University of Saskatchewan.

Now in its second decade of operation, PDS is located at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in Saskatoon with laboratories integrated directly into the College. The laboratory provides a full range of diagnostic services including: necropsy, surgical pathology, clinical pathology, endocrinology, histology, bacteriology, immunology, molecular diagnostics, virology, and toxicology. A contract lab at WCVM provides endrocrinology services, including the BioPRYN analysis.
