Blackburn Architects, P.C. was established in 1983 as Smith Blackburn Stauffer Architects to provide full-service architectural design and planning services for our equestrian, commercial, residential -and renovation clients. We are a medium-sized firm based in Washington, DC with a satellite office in San Francisco to better serve our West Coast clients.Our primary goal is to serve our clients with a proven talent and professional skill. We continue to distinguish ourselves as a design-oriented firm and deeply believe that our clients’ needs, budget limitations, and site concerns must be balanced with our experience and intrinsic knowledge of the building.Since its inception, the firm has developed a reputation for delivering precisely this balance to our clients. We are proud of repeat business from past clients as well as referrals from satisfied clients. Though we consistently expand our work, will never lose sight of past clientele.
