Description

Blanchard Funeral Chapel was founded by Edward Blanchard Sr. and his wife Beverly in 1973. An antique Cape home on a former farm was purchased and the business was started. Working in the community with the motto "Dignified, Dedicated Service to All" the business has grown to be a trusted establishment here in Whitman as well as in all of the surrounding towns. The funeral home continues to be an independent family operated home thirty years later. A second generation of the Blanchard family is also now involved and will continue the personal service that Beverly and Edward have been known for. Their daughter Jolene and her husband Robert Tonello who is a funeral director have worked at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel for more than 10 years.
