Description

Blaze King Industries was founded in 1977. During the first decade and a half, Blaze King made wood stoves only. Favored by homeowners worldwide for the large firebox, excellent heat production and long burn times, Blaze King wood stoves were the stoves of choice. The Clean Air Act, which was passed by the Carter Administration, was introduced and the first of two phases for cleaner emissions was on the horizon. In an effort to avert any potential problems, Blaze King began research in the area of catalytic technology for use in wood stoves. Fortunately, catalyst suppliers were learning quickly as catalysts were now being used in the automotive industry, factories and other targets for cleaner emissions. The process of catalytic technology was refined over the first decade and by 1992, Blaze King's catalytic wood stoves were gaining a superior reputation for improved efficiencies and even longer burn times...
