IMI provides medical imaging based product development solutions, including independent imaging review and database delivery to regulatory authorities. They ensure imaging is successfully integrated into clinical trial design, implementation and analysis. IMI was founded in 2000 as Beacon Bioscience, Inc.

IMI staff has over 25 years of experience in various therapeutic and diagnostic indications in which medical imaging endpoints are utilized. They have extensive experience in all imaging modalities optimized to image human anatomy. High end quantitative analyses are provided by their validated in-house analysis tools, as well as expert third party partners.

Dr. Steve W. Schwartz, Blue Canopy’s Chief Medical Officer has over 35 years of experience applying IT to solve health care issues. He has been a practicing physician for over 20 years and has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and lead developer for a healthcare IT company developing practice management software and backup and recovery software for medical imaging.
